The Model

I've created a model to help with the design process. It's a great tool for getting dimensions correct and making changes. But it can be a time-waster when you put in too much detail. Therefore the buildings are mocked up merely for mass. Except for the client's house, they are only vaguely accurate for size and location. Some of the data that come from satellite photos are distorted.

I like to use it to print a view from a particular angle. Then draw on the paper or digital 2d print. After some consensus has been reached then I add important details back to the model if needed.
